Impacts of Shark Finning Upon the Environment
The health benefits of meditation – What does research say about how meditation can improve healthphysical as well as mental health? How does it work? To what extent can meditation be used as an intervention or in conjunction with other treatment?
Research your topic. Your research must include at least two journal articles or books. That is, websites can be very helpful and informative, but your final paper must include full articles (whether from the Internet or elsewhere) or books on the topic. GoogleScholar and PDF articles from the Internet can be helpful resources. This paper requirement means that you need to include at least two primary sources in your paper; articles from the Internet can be included, but they would be in addition to the two minimum primary sources. Primary sources are firsthand accounts; thus, they involve the author writing about his or her own work. Primary sources include books or published journal articles.
In each paper, you are required to support evidence for your written points, whether the evidence is specific detail from the Internet, or your observations (and, in all cases, the evidence needs to be stated in your own words and not plagiarized). These sources should be appropriately cited. For example: (Scott, 2010) or (www.sciencedaily.com, What is Keeping Your Kids Up At Night, para. 2). Sufficient referencing and integration (without plagiarism) of other sources is necessary to achieve full points in this area. A reference page is also needed.
you are to include your own thoughts and evaluations. Each paper option involves you thinking further on a topic in psychology and making some evaluations and decisions about the topic. Your thoughts need to be described in sufficient detail and identified as your thoughts, compared to information that you may obtain elsewhere. Sufficient explanation is necessary.
Format:
I. Introduction. Introduce your topic and explain why this topic was of interest to you.
II. Body of paper. Fully address your topic and all the components of it. Support your points with your cited research. The topic should be explained in full. This section should be at least three pages long.
III. Application. Discuss your topics application component. Be sure to mention what applications are recommended by others and what you recommend. You must include your own views about what the application should be, and clearly state them and why. This section should be at least one to two pages
IV. Conclusion. Conclude your topic with a wrap-up paragraph. Some suggestions for a good conclusion: a) end by summarizing what was learned about this topic; b) end by emphasizing a particular application of the information; c) end by suggesting where future research and discussion should go on this topic.
Innovation in radar
You will write an informal report addressing how an innovation from within the last 2-3 years could be applied to your unit or department at work.
*******Your report must:
Be in the form of an informal report, including heading and formatting elements
Reference at least 3 reliable sources
Cite sources using either APA style or neat links where a web address is embedded in text
using descriptive hyperlinks (here is an example of a neat link)
Address the audience (in this case, your direct supervisor) as an educated and involved reader
who is not necessarily an expert on the topic
Use standard English and avoid jargon and technical language
–
In addition to fulfilling the above requirements, your informal report must include the following:
1. Context in the form of a brief description of your department in the organization where you work and the field in which the innovation has occurred
2. The organization can be your invention or a real workplace, but it must have some connection to the field mentioned in your title.
3. Clear explanations of what the breakthrough is and how it works.
Keep in mind that a breakthrough is not necessarily good or beneficial. Cloning or atomic weapons were undoubtedly innovations in their fields, but they are not universally regarded as positive developments.
4. Summaries of 2-4 differing opinions of this innovation
These can be pro and con or can emphasize different kinds of benefits or risks.
5. At least one suggestion for how the innovation might be implemented in your department or unit
For example, a report on I Cant Believe Its Not Blackboard might suggest that it be tested first in 2 or 3 courses taught by technically proficient instructors and to junior or senior level students, and that a questionnaire/survey be developed for each participant to assess the software

What are the intentions and consequences of using the term Karen, and should we continue to use it?

Your first body paragraph should be a literature review, where you summarize and connect all three assigned readings. When integrating quotes, do the following:
summarize the article, using phrases like the author claims, they suggest, they support their argument by, etc.
rhetorically analyze the authors argument, using key words and phrases that clearly indicate rhetorical analysis: the author establishes credibility when (ethos), the author weakens their argument by (logos), the author evokes an emotional response that does this (pathos)
In exploration of your thesis and to support your argument, connect the Karen conversation to other relevant discussions of racism, sexism, and other divisive social issues.

Any topic (writer’s choice)
Langston Hughes (1902-67) who wrote the poem I, Too, Sing Americaand many more.you should be researching your authors life and attempting to connect his real life to his 3 poems/stories.
As an example, I chose the author Tennesee Williams who wrote the plays Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and The Glass Menagerie.
I started by researching his life on Biography.com- https://www.biography.com/writer/tennessee-williams [biography.com]. Take a look at that page as an example. There is a lot of info about his life, but I want to highlight IMPACTFUL elements from his identity and background. Things like what school he attended or what awards he won are not relevant in this paper. I am looking for deeper, more meaningful things. So, I brainstormed the following connections:
Difficult childhood (biography.com [biography.com] indicated his parents had a difficult marriage and he had a strained relationship with his father)
Illness (he was hospitalized for depression and his sister was disabled)
Addiction (he struggled with drugs and alcohol)
Sexuality (he was a gay man living in the South in the middle 1900s)

make sure task 4 fits to 1,2, and 3 (see attached file).
make sure to put up to 15-20 references, also these ones:
Bowles, S., Carlin, W. and Stevens, M., 2020. The Economy. [ebook] Oxford: Oxford University Press. Available at: <https://core-econ.org/the-economy/index.html>

Begg, D., Vernasca, G., Fischer, S. and Dornbusch, R., 2014. Economics. 11th ed. Maidenhead: McGraw-Hill Education.
if you can’t access the book, no worries just put them in the reference list anyways…
Task 4:
In 2009, governments at the Copenhagen climate talks committed to limiting global warming to no more than 2C above pre-industrial temperatures, beyond this level, scientists threaten catastrophic climate change. 97% of the worlds climate scientists agree that human emissions of greenhouse gases are responsible for climate change. Limiting atmospheric concentrations of CO2 to 450 parts per million (ppm) will give us a 50% chance of achieving this target
How is climate change affecting or likely to affect your chosen country. Explore the issue of Climate Change (both locally and globally) as social dilemma. Refer to the external effect (or externalities) and the tragedy of the commons. How has the recent covid-19 crisis and lock-down impacted pollution? What can we learn from this? Briefly explain.
genis 1-3
Read Genesis 1-3. Reflect on how humanity’s sin disrupted an otherwise “very good” creation. In particular, how can a fallen world “explain” the presence so many terrible events in the world.
You will be uploading a short document that details your reflections. Quality matters over quantity, but please write something in the range of 1/2 to 1 page, double-spaced, Times New Roman font, 1″ margins, etc.
