For this discussion post, I want us to explore different tools we may use and why. Using either a past project or one you have researched for this course, identify at least one quantitative tool and one qualitative performance evaluation tool and provide the following information as it relates to your project (case study) in this course:

Brief explanation of the tool
Why you selected each tool
When you would use them during the project
What information you think they would yield and why this is important
Any limitations of the tools
How they might work together, if applicable
Just as a note, here are a few classifications by qualitative and quantitative to help you out a bit:

Qualitative Tools (Benchmarking, Causal analysis, Root cause analysis, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, MBWA)
Quantitative (Regression analysis, Reserve analysis, Trend analysis, Earned Value, Variance Analysis, Benchmarking, FMEA)
Some are listed in both lists, as they can be either depending on the type of data used. There are other tools that you may use currently or believe will be beneficial so please feel free to explore others in your research.

Theme: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

You are a practicing pharmacist. One day F.C., an apparently healthy 42-year-old man came to you to get advice. He was watching some health-related documentary film recently and has become concerned about his health. He has not seen his family physician for years. He says that he is too busy with his work to go for a routine physical since he does not have any complaints. He does not know what is blood cholesterol level is. He works as a telemarketer and his wife works as a receptionist. They have a 13-year-old boy who goes to public school. F.C. mentions that he is concerned since his father died suddenly when he was 10 years old. He only remembers that his father died of heart disease. His paternal uncle also died of a heart attack in his early fifties. F.C. is not overweight but he and his family eat food from fast food shops and nearby diners almost every day. At night their regular food includes sausage, meatball, baked potato, bread with butter, etc. He also smokes half a pack of cigarettes each day.

Question: What measures should F.C. take with regards to lifestyle patterns to combat his health-related concern? Write your answer 1-2 page.

Corporate social responsibility is an emerging trend for businesses in todays environment. Regardless of the nature of the industry, corporations are held to higher ethical standards. This assignment will give you a chance to think as an executive and take into consideration the importance of ethics and social responsibility.

You are tasked with choosing a corporation and discussing the importance of ethics and social responsibility in relation to that particular corporation. Create a “Student Engagement and Classroom Management Plan” for a specific grade-level and content area that includes the following:

In 250-500 words, write a personal philosophy of student engagement and classroom management (adapted from your Topic 1 assignment) that includes:

A description of your overall classroom management philosophy aligned to personal beliefs you hold that support it.
An overview of how you will manage your learning environment in order to engage students.
