Option #1: In our case studies so far, we have encountered multiple examples of musics that have survived oppressive conditions or that were created in response to oppressive conditions. Using at least two specific examples studied in this class, reflect on how music can play a role in bearing witness to and/or actively addressing issues of injustice.
