History Annotated Bibliography
1.Introduction
The Annotated Bibliography is part of your final project. Students are to provide annotations for five primary sources find about (The Rise of Christianity)and five secondary sources find about(The Rise of Christianity)that will then be used in the final project. Sources should be directly related to the final projects topic. Annotations should be a paragraph (about 100 words).
For secondary sources, students should use high quality scholarly sources, especially scholarly monographs or articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals. Students should avoid using the textbook, encyclopedia articles, or anonymously authored websites.
For primary sources, students should be looking for documents which were originally written during the time period they are trying to study. While architectural or archaeological remains certainly do qualify as primary sources which can be used by scholars to reconstruct the past, they are problematic for an assignment like this. Written documents from the past should be your focus!
2.What is an Annotated Bibliography?

Help to formulate a thesis on a subject
Demonstrate the research you have performed on a particular subject

MN584 W10-CASE STUDY

Previous Information:
A 73-year-old male patient, Samuel J., presents to you for his annual physical with ongoing fatigue. His vital signs are 142/86, P 74, and a weight gain of 15 pounds from the previous visit 6 months ago for a urinary tract infection. He further expresses concerns over his nighttime insomnia, daytime napping, slow weight gain, and growing lack of motivation to engage in his hobbies (tennis and ham radio operation) and a part-time job (at a local big-box appliance and tech store), which he formerly enjoyed. His wife of 45 years died within the last year, and he expresses concerns that he is not eating properly since she had done most of the grocery shopping and cooking. His own father died at age 75 after complications of a stroke sustained at age 74, and he does not want to end up the same way. He has one daughter who lives about 10 miles away from him and with whom he enjoys a close relationship. He has a military pension and Social Security income and is covered by Medicare and TriCare supplemental insurance. His home is easy to maintain and paid for, and his vehicle is paid for and in good condition.
New Information:
Samuel J. further describes shortness of breath in the mornings and occasionally during the day. He states that sometimes he is greatly fatigued and short of breath during the day and sometimes at night has a troublesome cough. He has noticed his ankles swell from time to time. He believes he has more trouble urinating now than before his last visit for the urinary tract infection and sometimes wakes up at night having to urinate. Mr. J.s father is was diagnosed with prostate cancer when he was 67 and is now deceased.

3 REFERENCES
You should choose an article that reviews or makes a critical argument about the TV show, movie, podcast, album or other cultural product you have chosen.
After reading this assignment, you should start looking for an article on the internet that might interest you. Good examples of publications with thoughtful reviews and analysis include The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Atlantic.
In order to respond to the text, you must first read it and comprehend the author(s) viewpoint, position, or argument. The structure of this essay is very similar to that of your first assignment, the Short Response essay.
The first paragraph of your assignment will be an academic summary/rhetorical precis` that includes the following:
The authors name and relevant credentials (ie: What expertise does the author have to argue the issue?)
The title of the article
A rhetorically accurate verb (see TSIS 40-41) preceding the authors thesis written in YOUR OWN WORDS
An explanation for the reasons and evidence the author uses to support her/his/their thesis
The authors apparent purpose
The authors intended audience
Your Thesis Statementremember that you are writing a rhetorical analysis and not a book report–do you agree with the author’s assessment?
The body of the essay will consist of four paragraphs that reflect your response to the arguments in the article and support your thesis. Think of this essay as an academic conversation between you and the article author. For each body paragraph, you must put forth a clear, arguable topic sentence and support the topic sentence with one correctly formatted (MLA 8th edition) quote or paraphrase from the article.
logarithums
Clearly label each problem.
Show and explain all work. No credit will be given if work is not shown. Make sure that your explanation shows understanding of the mathematical concepts used to solve the problem.
Include a statement with your final answer explaining what the answer means. For example, instead of providing a numerical answer only, say In two years, the account balance will be $4507.98.
It is All About the Money
Congratulations! You have just come into a large sum of money. You make the wise decision to invest the money to use at a later date. Use the exponential equation to find the total amount in the investment account after a certain number of years. Interest: If an initial principal P is invested at an annual rate r and the interest is compounded n times per year, the amount A in the account after t years is:
For your problem:
Choose an amount between $5,000 and $500,000 for p , the initial amount of money to invest.
Choose a rate between 2% and 11% for r , the interest rate per year.
Choose daily, monthly, or yearly for n , the number of times per year the interest will be compounded
Choose between 5 and 30 years for t , the number of years you will let the account grow.
Include what values you have chosen and find the value of the account at the end of the time period. How would you spend this money?.
Planning for the Future
You will complete a reflective essay to address the following questions which relate to your calculations from the problem above.
Consider what you know about personal financial matters. Where did you gain this knowledge? Did you learn about these matters in school or some other deliberate training, or did you learn from personal experience? Are you satisfied with your level of knowledge on personal financial matters? Are you satisfied with how you have handled money in the past?
Consider your calculations from the problem above. How do changes in interest rate, time, and compounding affect the amount of interest earned on an investment? What changes will you make in the way you deal with money based on what you learned?
What do you wish you had known earlier in your financial life? What financial advice would you give to a young person just starting out?
Your essay should have an introduction, body, and conclusion. A good way to plan this particular reflective essay is to write an introduction to the essay. Next, write at least three body paragraphs and address each of the points listed above. End your essay with a conclusion paragraph tying all of your ideas together. The essay should be at least five paragraphs in length. Share your essay as an attachment. You are expected to use outside sources for this essay. Cite outside sources in proper APA format. You can find numerous APA resources in the Writing Center Writing Reference Library on the Research, Citation, and Plagiarism page.
Your essay should include a highly developed purpose and viewpoint; it should also be written in Standard American English and demonstrate exceptional content, organization, style, grammar, and mechanics. There should be no evidence of plagiarism. If you are unsure about what constitutes plagiarism, please review the plagiarism policy.

Right to Work Law
One of the most hotly debated subjects in labor relations today is that of ‘Right to Work’ laws. It’s time to do some deeper research and take a position on this controversial issue. In a narrative, do the following:
1. What is the history of ‘Right to Work’ laws? Where did they come from? Who proposed them and why? Has their purpose or effect changed since original inception?
2. Accurately summarize both sides of the ‘Right to Work’ debate. What exactly is each side arguing, and what are the defenses to the claims of their opponents?
3. Articulate your own opinion on this issue. Are ‘Right to Work’ laws ethically sound? Are they good for unions? Good for employers? Good for employees? If one or more of these stakeholders are disadvantaged, how? Do the benefits of these laws outweigh the costs? Why or why not?
4. What is your prediction for ‘Right to Work’ laws in America? Currently, the country is divided more or less 50:50 in terms of states with and without such laws. Will they become the new norm? Or will they regress and be repealed in the states that have enacted them? Defend your predictions with sound reasoning.
