You have explored different resilience-oriented assessments and interventions that can be used once the assessments have been completed. In this Assignment, you will have the opportunity to develop a fictional case study and then use a specific resilience-oriented assessment, a relational genogram, to map the relationships of the fictional family and then identify evidenced-based interventions that can be used with either individuals or the family unit in the fictional case study.

Please respond to the following:

Develop a fictional case study that details a specific crisis event. The case study must include information about family relationships.
Using the Genogram Template, complete the genogram using the fictional case study you developed in above and insert a copy of the genogram in your paper.
Identify and discuss at least two evidenced-based interventions you could use with the fictional case study you developed.
The interventions can be either for a specific individual presented in the case study or the family unit as a whole. You can also identify one individual intervention and one family intervention. Be sure you clearly indicate if the intervention is for a specific individual or for the family as a whole.
Evaluate the success of the interventions using empirical support (results of research studies on each intervention discussed above).

Read the Fitzgerald textbook Recognizing Race and Ethnicity: Power, Privilege, and Inequality and then watch the documentary entitled  “The Canary Effect” before starting. at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uk9S6fcdPk

Follow this guideline:

Start with an introduction. Here you should have a clear presentation of a problem, topic, or thesis statements (in other words, there should be a sentence or two in your introduction that tells the reader what you will discuss in your paper)
Briefly summarize what you viewed. This summary should be no more than 2 paragraphs.
What information/statistics/perspectives stood out to you?
Use the theory of Internal Colonialism to analyze the film.
Explain how the white racial frame theoretical perspective may help us understand why many Americans have not been taught the true nature of Anglo Native relations/conflict in the U.S.
Based on what you saw, discuss how the terms racialization of state policy and racial dictatorship may be applied to the circumstance of Native Americans in the film.
Can you think of any other relevant terms/concepts/theories covered in class/text that could apply to the film?
Based on the information relayed in chapters 3-4 and the information presented in The Canary Effect, how do you think the US government, capitalism and racism may be linked and how might they reinforce each other?

Successful leader

FOR THIS PAPER, YOU MUST READ A PROPER BIOGRAPHY AND NOT ARTICLES FOUND ON THE INTERNET, ABOUT A BUSINESS OR NON-PROFIT LEADER WHO HAS CHANGED THEIR ORGANIZATION OR THE WAY BUSINESS IS CONDUCTED IN THE MODERN WORLD.
I chose the biography of Steven Jobs.

Below, please find some necessary guidelines for your biography paper.

1. What is your thesis or point you are making about your choice?

-Why did you choose your person?

-HOW DID THEY CHANGE THEIR RESPECTIVE ORGANIZATIONS? FOR SUCCESS OR FAILURE?

-HOW DID THEIR ROLES INFLUENCE BUSINESS OR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR?

2. YOU SHOULD  ask if your person  was an authentic leader as discussed in chapter 12 of our textbook, “ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR.” IF THEY WERE, DID THIS HELP OR HINDER THEM IN CHANGING OR IMPROVING THEIR RESPECTIVE ORGANIZATIONS?

DID THEIR POSTIIVE LEADERSHIP PROMOTE TRUST IN EFFECTING ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE? OR DID THEY ABUSE THEIR POWER IN THEIR ORGANIZATIONS AS DISCUSSED IN CHAPTER 13 OF OUR TEXTBOOK.

Remember to give several examples from the biography to support your claim they did understand the differences or did not always?

HOW DID THEY MANAGE CONFLICT, AS CHANGE AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE USUALLY INVOLVED THIS CLASH OF PERSONALITIES? YOU CAN FIND HELPFUL IDEAS IN CHAPTER 14.

PLEASE LIMIT BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION TO ONE PAGE AS THAT IS NOT THE PURPOSE OF THIS PAPER.

THIS IS MORE A REFLECTION PAPER AS YOU APPLY IDEAS AND CONCEPTS FROM YOUR READING AND OUR CLASS.

YOU SHOULD ALSO  CITE CONCRETE EXAMPLES FOR THE WORK LIFE OF YOUR CHOICE, AND APPLY THEM TO YOUR OWN LIFE.

FOR EXAMPLE, PERHAPS OPRAH WHO SOME WRITERS HAVE CREDITED WITH CHANING THE WORLD OF ENTERTAINMENT, OVERCOME INCREDIBLE ADVERSITY. PERHAPS YOU ADMIRE HER FORM OF LEADERSHIP, TO THE POINT OF HERE BEING A SERVANT MODEL AS DISCUSSED IN CHAPTERS 12 AND 13.

OR YOU ADMIRE JACK MA AND HIS PERSONALITY TYPE, MOTIVATIONAL THEORY, AND LEADERSHIP STYLE. FOR EXAMPLE, YOU MAY MODEL YOUR WORK AND LEADERSHIP STYLE AFTER HIM.

PLEASE USE THE MLA STYLE, AND LIMIT THE USE OF FOOTNOTES.

I will upload our textbook and the biography of my choice. Thank you!

Correct use of APA guidelines for the following:
Headers with pagination
Title Page
Margins, spacing, and paragraph indentation
APA in-text citation and referencing for all sources
Do not divide your essay into sections.
Do not use headings within your paper to indicate changes in topic. While longer APA essays and particular types of APA writing, such as scholarly articles, employ APA-style bolded headings to divide portions of the writing, you are writing a shorter academic essay. Your shift from one paragraph to the next should be signaled through your use of the effective transition and topic sentence rules we have practiced.
6-8 full pages for the essay itself, not including title page or references
Effective structure, including your introduction paragraph, your body paragraphs, and your conclusion paragraph
Use of third-person throughout. Focus on the topic, not on you nor on the essay. In other words: no first-person I, and no referring to the essay, such as In this essay.
At least 5 scholarly sources visibly used, cited, and referenced

Film research paper la la land

Your topic needs to stay centered on the film and not drift into generalities. Use the word society advisedly. When you need an example to support your thesis, look to the film or to one of your sources, not your personal experience of the world.
You can absolutely use photo stills to illustrate your point about visual elements. They do not count toward page count, however, and you must explain the significance of your pictures in the text of your paper.
Some important questions about films that might help you stay focused there are:
Why did the director make this choice? What does it mean to them, and what are they trying to communicate to the audience.
How are the actors performing the script to interpret the director’s vision of the film?
What kinds of camera work are used to tell parts of the story? (This is a question that normally appears on my final exams, fair warning).
How does the director use color or black and white as a way of telling the story?
Remember that in films, there are no accidents. It’s never raining by accident, never sunny by accident, the costumes aren’t an accident, the sets aren’t an accident. Everything that’s there is because the director wants it to be there. What are they trying to communicate with this film?
You must choose one of the films from the syllabus. I’ve said this repeatedly, and my patience with proposals on films not on the syllabus is wearing thin.
I’m serious about at least half of your sources being peer-reviewed. Weak sources make a weak paper. Papers without a Works Cited list will not pass. Papers whose Works Cited list consists of nothing but a list of links will not pass. Learning to use MLA consistently is a department standard for this class. The use of any Google results for student-help websites and paper mills is going to count against you. Use reputable sources only.
If the film was made after the TV era, check YouTube for interviews with directors or actors about that film. These are valid and really strong sources–anything directly from people involved in the film is a primary source. Hitchcock, for example, loved appearing on TV and did a lot of televised interviews. They’re easy to find.
As usual, this is a Turnitin paper. Those whose papers are plagiarized in whole or in part will fail, and there is no makeup on the final paper. Be very sure before you hit send.
