App project

This project should take no more than a week to do. CSS framework,

The user should be able to list, create, update and delete a list of contacts. The page should be
properly styled. The screenshot is an example showing the basic styles. Feel free to change the
style to whatever you like

Python Project

Find the count of words in ‘Functionality’ column of the attached spreadsheet. Write a python program to find count of words and frequency of words (tf-idf) across the words.
The output file must be in excel format showing:
a. top 100 words  and counts of those words by organization name and owner.
b.  top 100 words and frequency (tf-idf) of those words by organization name and owner.
c. pie chart or bar graph showing count and frequency of words by organization name.

Another output should be GUI window should have
a. visualization top 20 words count by organization. Display those words and word counts as well.
b and display the complete text  of these 20 words in tabular format. Display date and organization name as well.
c  interactive chat box  within GUI window
d chat box first message that should display ‘How can I help you?’.
e. The user will type the word that they want to search. For example ‘organization’.
f. chat box will search the word that exist in functionality column of source excel file.
g. if the word exist in functionality column, the chat box should display the count and frequency by organization and ask ‘do you want to see complete texts in which this word exist’? and should accept yes or no in response.
h. If the user types ‘yes’, the chat box should display complete text by organization name and date
i. the chat box search of the word should not be case sensitive
j the chat box should also suggest similar words that may exist. For example, if the user searches ‘culture’, the search result should also display suggestion to check the counts of ‘organizational culture’.
k. the chat box should allow to search for two words for example ‘organization culture’
l the chat box should allow user to search for organization name. For example, the user can enter ‘A’ (which is organization name in source file), the chat box should display the top 20 words  for this organization by date. and allow to view complete text in which this word exist.

Guidelines for output excel files and GUI:
a. ignore words after ‘comment’ in functionality column of source file.
b. ignore stop words
c. Ignore the words after comment in functionality column.
d.  if the user enters word that does not exist, it should display ‘Sorry, I didn’t get that. Let’s try again.’
e. The chat box can be closed by click on ‘X’
f. whenever source file updates, the GUI window and chat box should display most recent information.
g whenever source file updates, the output excel file should display most recent information.
h. The python program must be in anaconda (spyder 2.7 version)
i Provide a separate word document that shows which third-party packages are installed and steps how to install them

Assessment A

Format: Calculation and brief working or short answer with explanation as well as the calculation solved in an Excel spreadsheet. For each calculation you must provide a manual solution and a solution using excel. Typing straight into excel without doing the calculations in excel does not qualify as solving in excel. Use the excel template provided. Do all the assignment with explanations in excel and upload one file. Type your explanation and manual answer in text boxes.

Two answers one in Excel and one in a Text box
You must provide a full answer with explanation and accompanied with the calculation done manually and one done in Excel. See the example below.
1.    Manual answer as if you were answering the question in an exam (but typed). Include a time line or cash flow map/table, an explanation of the logic used to arrive at the answer, the formula used and then the calculations. The formula on its own followed by the answer is not enough.
2.    You must also do the solution in Excel. Typing the answer as a number into excel is not enough.
Do all the assignment with explanations in excel and upload one file. Type your explanation and manual answer in text boxes. Use the template provided. This is the preferred method.

Discussion Assignment 2

While this unit is focused on quantitative analysis for program evaluation or policy analysis, in this discussion session we will consider two very short essays on the relevance of evaluation to disaster and emergency management generally.

Review the following articles:

Discussion 2 -Enhancing Disaster and Emergency Preparedness.pdf

Discussion 2 -Evaluation of Disaster and Emergency Mgt.pdf

The first essay presents an argument of how evaluation enhances the several cycles or phases of managing emergencies and disasters.

The second considers how evaluation practices should be applied to the specific context of emergencies and disasters.

Please offer your own assessment of both of these general topics. First, how important is solid evaluation work to effective emergency management practices? Second, what is a basis for establishing evaluation standards around disaster or emergency issues? These are relatively complex questions please offer your own assessment on how one might meet these challenges.

Assignment A

Marks: 10 ten questions each worth one mark. You must have the correct answer and a correct explanation plus working, to gain the marks allocated to each question (you must provide two solutions, one as if you were answering the questions for the exam [but typed] and one in excel). Failure to provide both will result in a mark of zero for the question. Include cash flow maps and/or tables wherever possible. Avoid rounding error. Providing a formula and the final answer, without showing the working is not enough.
Weight: 10%.
See the example file provided on Blackboard.
Word Limit:  A few pages (500 words as a very rough guide; mostly calculations)
Due: see Blackboard
The assignment must be done in excel and must be your own work (scanned documents are not acceptable). Under no circumstances should you use submit a hard copy.
Make sure to highlight or underline your final answer/s in some way. (e.g. Answer = $5089)
Upload a soft copy of your Excel file to Blackboard under Assessment by the due date and time (must be Microsoft compatible). Failure to upload will result in a mark of zero. Keep a copy of your assignment. If you have problems uploading your file/s then send them by email (before due date and time) to j.polichronis@qut.edu.au
Assignments submitted after the due date (late assignments) cannot be uploaded to Blackboard. Instead, they need to be emailed directly to John Polichronis j. j.polichronis@qut.edu.au
Late submissions will receive a mark of zero. Please be aware that the suggested solution will be released within one day or so of the submission date, so any assignment submitted after the due date and time will attract a score of zero.
Extensions will only be granted in very, very exceptional circumstances, and will normally take the form of a different assignment.
A hard copy is not required.
Try to be as accurate as possible. Unless otherwise told you should use the following approach:
PV and FV accurate to the nearest dollar
Prices accurate to two decimal places (to the nearest cent)
Rates accurate to one basis point

Statistical Machine Learning project

This is a machine learning assignment.
This assignment also requires us to run the Kaggle in-class competition against my peers. The assessment will be partially based on the final ranking in the privately-held competition, partially based on the absolute performance and partially based on the report.
I am hoping that I can find an expert to help me writing the code and run the competetion also who can write the report.

I also uploaded the detail requirements take a look if you feel interesting.

Hi. my name is Bukola and i am a post graduate studies at the Univerity of pretoria. i am at a stand still in my research: i supposed to be working on HLA imputation on the southern african population. but we do not have enough data. and the data we do have we do not have the depths of the data which will make imputation impossible. is there something else i can do with this data to study more about the HLA data of the southern africans using the data i have. (i am kind of desperate as i should be turing my work in soon and i have nothing to show for my work.

Lab 7

For Lab 7, we’re crack the WPA/WPA2 wireless network key using oclHashcat on Windows. Instead of using CPU power to brute force the password were going to use the GPUs, short for Graphics Processing Unit. The benefit of using the GPU instead of the CPU for brute forcing is the huge increase in cracking speed. A GPU is designed to perform repetitive tasks very fast because it has many more cores than a CPU that can be used to process tasks in parallel. Because of the number of cores in a GPU even an older GPU can outperform a modern CPU by using heavy parallelism. The difference between older and newer graphics cards and GPUs is even larger. The older Radeon 7670M video card in a 2012 laptop does an average of 20kh (20.000 attempts) per second where an AMD HD7970 videocard can do 142kh (142.000 attempts) per second and 8 x NVidea Titan X cards can do 2.233 kh per second. This makes brute forcing routers with easy default passwords, like the TP-LINK (default WPS PIN) or the standard UPC broadband routers (8 capital letters), a piece of cake and just a matter of time. In the first part of the tutorial we created 26 different wordlists which allows us to distribute the wordlist over multiple PCs with multiple GPUs. Of course you can and have to question the cost effectiveness of this setup to crack a password because GPUs dont come cheap and require massive amounts of power when performing at top speed. Nevertheless it gives us a good understanding of what passwords are strong and what passwords arent when using GPUs to brute force them.  Here’s some vids to help.

As with the previous assignment, use screenshots to describe your process.

Lab 6

Performing an Wifi adapter packet injection test to see whether your Wifi adapter is capable of injection can be done easily with Aireplay-ng. Aireplay-ng is great tool to generate traffic for cracking WEP and WPA keys. Another great feature is the Deauthentication option.  Take a look and document how this happens on your own personal router.  Use screenshots and describe the process.
