Week 6 Primary Assignment

Note on Primary Assignments:
Each week you will submit a Primary Assignment. In many weeks, you can choose between two options for this assignment. Before you opt for which assignment option to answer, you will want to consider which option affords you the best opportunity to demonstrate learning based upon the assigned course materials. All Primary Assignments include a thesis statement, a bibliography (APA style), and the use and citation of three assigned reading articles from the current week and one assigned reading article from a previous week.

Engaged Citizen Hall of Fame
Learning Objective: Applying American Values: You apply the values studied by nominating to the Values and Service Hall of Fame, an individual from your personal life who, in your opinion, exemplifies them.

Throughout history, there have been women and men who exhibited exemplary behavior. We often look to famous people as role models and build statues or post plaques in their honor. Life is, however, full of often unheralded lives that have demonstrated positive values and engaged citizenship. Whether its Miguel Keith, an 18-year-old Hispanic Marine from Omaha who was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for bravery in combat, or the Civil Rights leader and Nebraska Hall of Fame member, Standing Bear, or perhaps someone you know, there are many role models in society.

This weeks assignment is to nominate someone you know to the fictitious, Engaged Citizenship Hall of Fame. For this assignment, consider the values presented in the assigned reading articles from Week 1 through Week 6. Compose an appropriate tribute arguing that this persons behavior exhibited one or more of the values examined in the course. If possible, include a photograph or some other appropriate image to represent the person you are nominating. Avoid overly hyperbolic or emotive attributes.

Week 6 Journal

This week we read about character and making moral choices. One form of moral decision making is utilitarianism, and another is Kants ethical imperative. Historical exposs find that many who are held up as role models were in reality as fallible as the rest of us including Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King.

For your assignment, this week, reconcile the reality that often moral leaders were also flawed. Should we set aside their moral failings and focus on the immense positive contributions they made?

Operational Assignment Details:

This assignment is due on Sunday at 10 p.m. CST. Your substantive comments are due the following Tuesday at 10 p.m. CST. Each journal entry should be a minimum of 300 words. Your journal entry narrative is subjective and can be written in the first person. Citations are not required, but the inclusion of the assigned reading articles is strongly encouraged. Be sure to proofread your entry and use the Grammarly app before posting. Please keep in mind that others will be reading your journal.

IS THE USE/MISUSE OF CELL PHONE TOWERS A RELIABILITY OR VIOLATION OF THE FOURTH AMENDMENT

Hello there, we are almost at the end of this journey.  Once again, thank you again in advance.  Please read the below in its entirety.

Requesting Chapters 4 and 5 of the Thesis.

Please see the instructions for each chapter.

Chapter IV:  Results  (requesting 8 pages)

This chapter includes a presentation and analysis of the data.  The tone of the subject is purely objective, devoid of assumptions and interpretations.

Following a summary of the research data, Chapter IV should be organized in manner consistent with the research hypotheses:

First:  present data related to the first hypotheses
Second:  Analyze those data to determine whether the first hypotheses can be supported or rejected.  Follow this sequence for each hypotheses (4).
Include table (s) to present quantitative data.  Qualitative data should be summarized, as opposed to verbatim transcriptions.

I think part of Chapter 4 was included in Chapter 3.  I will attached all 3 previous chapters for your recollection.

Chapter V:  Discussion, Conclusions, and Recommendations (requesting 8 pages)

This chapter includes:
(a)    A Discussion of the research thesis hypotheses, including the findings, interpretation of the results, and problems and/or limitations; followed by
(b)    A Conclusion:  What did we find out?  What did we learn?
(c)    Recommendations for changes in policy or practice, future research, or anything else that will direction solutions to the problem (s) that were the focus of the research.

Finally, the professor is telling me that my references are not correctly cited and not in the proper APA format. I am attaching the previous 3 Chapters references (4 pages) as a separate attachment.

Can you please review each reference for correct format?  The professor says he dont know what references are books or journals because page numbers are not included where they needed to be included for Journals/Periodicals.  I have to know what part of the reference that needs to be italicize.  He said some references are missing the cities and states of publication and the publishing companies.
He will not accept my thesis if the references are not complicated.  Can you please put a B for Book, J for Journal, D for Dissertation and whatever source of reference you may have utilize.

Your work is great but I will hate to fail my thesis because of the references.  Thank you very much.    Look forward to communicating with you over the next 2 plus weeks.

Law

How should the United States government deal with the heightened concern about homegrown violent extremism and the growing concern for the preservation of civil liberties? What are the political and constitutional consequences of counter-terrorism? Lastly, how do we assess the tradeoffs between freedom and security?

You must separate each aspect of the question into different paragraphs and incorporate headers to differentiate the various aspects. Failure to do so will cost you five points.

AUTOPSY PHOTOS WARNING!!!!!

Review the autopsy photos. Create a story detailing how you believe that the victim died. You are required to do research using 4 outside sources. You cannot use papers or books written by any professors from FGCU to support your position. I want to know what other researchers say about the subject.

There are four (4) aspects of the research paper:
The paper must be a minimum of 1000 words.
