Dispute

I have an Experian credit report dated 08/15/19 that indicated 1 delinquent account for Security National Automotive totaling $6,839. I have to explain why the account was in the status it was in. I also have to explain the current status it is in now. I have attached a zip file. In side the zip file is a document labeled Official draft. The official draft is a outline of a series of events on how the account got in the status it was in. There are also documents lables with times and dates that will help you tell the story of what happened and how the account got in the status, what I tried to do to get the account out of the status and what the current status is now. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. This is not supposed to be a sob story this is supposed to state facts and how I tried to rectify the situation with the account.

JURISDICTION – CHAPTER 3
Part One
There are two major court systems in the United States, the Federal court system and the State court system. Each of these systems has jurisdiction to hear different types of lawsuits. Jurisdiction is the power granted to a court to make a decision which binds the parties of the suit.  In order for a court to have jurisdiction to hear a case they must have the power to bind the defendant or property involved in the case to its decision or it must have authority over the subject matter of the case. The state and federal legislatures and their respective Constitutions have set out through Statute the division of jurisdiction and the authority it confers to the courts systems.

Answer two of the following questions:
1.    Ron wants to sue Supply Company for its failure to deliver materials that Ron needed to prepare his work for an appearance at a local Crafts Fair. What must Ron establish before a court will hear a suit?
2.    Carlos, a citizen of California, is injured in an automobile accident in Arizona. Alex, the driver of the other car, is a citizen of New Mexico. Carlos wants Alex to pay Carlos’s $125,000 in medical expenses and car repairs. Can Carlos sue in federal court?

Jails and prisons are both considered incarceration facilities. However, the types of offenders housed in these facilities and the mission (role) of the facilities differ.

Directly quoted material may be used but will not count towards the minimum word count. Be sure to support your response with cited scholarly resources as required by APA. A minimum of three (3) scholarly resources must be used when composing your response and is not to be included in your word count.

Question #2

Intermediate sanctions are a form of punishment that lies somewhere on the punishment spectrum between incarceration and standard probation supervision. The type of intermediate sanctions applied can vary based upon the individual needs of an offender and severity/type of crime that was committed.

Compose an essay of 400 600 words that discusses the purposes of intermediate sanctions as a form of punishment. As part of your discussion identify and describe at least three (3) different types of intermediate sanctions that might be utilized in lieu of incarceration or standard probation supervision.

Any topic (writer’s choice)

The unique needs of each individual offender means that a one size fits all approach to sanctions does not work for offenders. As a result, a range of punishments has been developed to address the various needs of different offenders.

In your initial response, discuss the role of intermediate sanctions as a punishment alternative within corrections. Begin your response by defining the concept of intermediate sanctions as it applies to corrections. Provide specific examples of different types of intermediate sanctions. Conclude your response by evaluating whether or not you believe intermediate sanctions as they are currently designed are effectively working to rehabilitate offenders.
