Short Discussion

Consider the 1994 Crime Bill and the environment in which it was developed. Comment on some of the elements of our chapter such as “symbolic actions” and evaluation procedures. When reflecting on the outcomes and impacts discussed in our supplemental reading articles, do the chapter concepts seem well applied to the formulation of the Crime Bill?
