Racial Tyranny: A correctional Officer’s Experience

I want these pages added to the attached thesis that was already started.
Need references to at least 10 peer-reviewed articles. Newspapers and government pubs don’t constitute peer-reviewed articles.
Also need to add in-text citations, especially for the more vitriolic passages and terms and you need to structure the paper as shown in the appendices to our syllabus.
Topic needs to be framed and discussed in a scholarly way.
I was told the previous 6 pages are “injecting too much raw emotion and anger. That would be fine for an opinion piece but not for an academic paper. There are more objective ways to say what you want to say.” so the rest of the paper should not be worded similarly.

Coursework Application – Provide one  specific example of how your coursework applies to your internship experience.  For example, describe how the material you learned in your courts class (CRJU301) is illustrated at your work at the courthouse. Or, describe how the material in the victimization course (CRJU401) is brought to life in your work at Meals on Wheels.

Describe, in detail, the specific event(s) or process(es) or work to which you are applying the coursework material.
When applying the material from your course, you may cite your notes or texts if necessary.  You may base your analysis on material from non-CCJ courses.

(YOU WILL BE REPLY TO A AND B).
Reply to A AND B with a suggestion about how material from a different course could apply to their submission. For example, in his post, Antoine describes how material in his research methods class (CRJU325) applies to a specific task he has at the  police department.  Angel replies to Antoine’s post with a description of how material from ethics (CRJU330) could also apply to Joe’s description.

how should the sentencing of criminal defendants be change in the United States?”

Answer the following question in a 3 to 5 page paper (Short Writing Assignment). The question, “In your opinion, how should the sentencing of criminal defendants be change in the United States?”  This is a formal written paper: I expect a cover page and the use of proper APA citations both within the paper and on the Reference Page.  As a minimum, I expect to see an Introduction, Body (sub-headings as appropriate), Conclusion, and References sections in your paper. Even though this is an opinion paper, I expect references to materials to support your arguments.

Intermediate Sanctions

“Intermediate Sanctions: Between Probation and Incarceration” Please respond to the following:

Analyze the goals of using intermediate sanctions and the pros and cons associated with them. Then, choose two of the types of intermediate sanctions and determine situations in which each of these two types would be appropriate. Lastly, take a position on whether or not you believe that there is value in their use. Justify your response.

Arrest

Arrests and Use of Force” Please respond to the following:
Examine the Police Use of Force article from the e-activity and discuss the use-of-force continuum and how much force should be used during an arrest. Then, analyze the interrogation and questioning process that law enforcement officers can conduct after a justifiable arrest.  In your own opinion, determine whether or not you believe that these processes restrain officials from obtaining information related to crimes and include in your thoughts how the Miranda rights relate to your ideas.  Then, examine the e-activity article and discuss the use-of-force continuum.  Justify your answer.

Crime scene

consider your role as the first responding law enforcement officer at a crime scene. What would be your top three (3) responsibilities when you arrive at the crime scene?  Provide a rationale. Describe the actions you will take at the scene to complete your responsibilities.
Then, respond to the posts of at least two (2) other peers with comments that continue to drive the discussion.
Week 4 HOT TOPIC: Extra Credit

At least 19 women at a Georgia immigration facility are now alleging that a doctor performed, or pressured them to undergo, overly aggressive or medically unnecessary surgery without their consent, including procedures such as hysterectomies, that affect their ability to have children, according to a new report and other records obtained by The Times..

Project South and other advocacy groups, as well as more than 170 members of Congress, have called for wide-ranging investigations into the Irwin County Detention Center after a former nurse at Irwin filed a whistleblower complaint last month saying that a doctor later identified as Mahendra Amin was subjecting female detainees in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody to unwanted hysterectomies.  Amin has denied any wrongdoing and the hospital has said that just two such procedures have been performed on detainees since 2017.

The Department of Homeland Securitys Office of Inspector General opened an investigation into the center last month.  Chicago lawyer Adam Snyder said Friday that he helped assemble an independent team of medical experts, including nine board-certified obstetricians, to examine womens claims of subpar treatment after Project South released the whistleblower complaint from former nurse Dawn Wooten. The team, which briefed congressional staff members on their findings Thursday, said in a five-page report obtained by The Washington Post that it reviewed more than 3,200 pages of medical records from 19 women who alleged mistreatment. They found what they consider to be a troubling pattern of inadequate care that included incorrect diagnoses and a failure to secure informed consent for surgery.
