Objective:

Students will discuss the ways CM and FN embody characteristics of the nursing profession. Students will compare and contrast the two role models. Students will demonstrate beginning competency in use of academic writing style and APA formatting.

Consider the characteristics of a nurse and nursing discussed in class so far this semester. Think about how these women exemplify these characteristics and the similarities and differences between Catherine McAuley and Florence Nightingale.

Write a minimum of one-page reflection discussing similarities between CM and FN, our two role models.

Identify a minimum of two characteristics of professional nursing. Discuss the way in which CM and FN embody each characteristic. 

Connect discussion to class content using supporting statements from assigned readings with corresponding citation to source.

Project Guidelines
Create a product to demonstrate personal learning and reflection related to the experience of human caring and non-violence.
Your summary project must include all of the following elements:
    Discuss what you have learned about caring and nonviolence
    Discuss the theme, topic or person that  impacted you most in enhancing your understanding of caring and nonviolence
    Reflective of the course objectives
    Connect to ideas from class discussions, as well as the ideas of the presented scholars.
    Connect to class readings, outside sources and/or personal experiences
    Prompts and/or questions to stimulate and guide the in-class discussion.

Your summary project can take the form of an online presentation, online poster, online brochure, or a written paper. If you wish to use a different presentation method, check with the faculty.

This is a continuation of a paper you had wrote previously this will be the last 5 pages of a 10 page policy paper . I attached the first 5 page paper you wrote and attached the comments by the professor when she graded it and her main focus on what she wants the paper to focus on the social disparities in poorer communities and lead contaminations. She wants to discuss the lead in Flint, MI water supply and the lead contamination in housing in New York. This is a policy  paper and how policies need to be implemented to better all individuals not just those with a higher income. she wants an abstract in the beginning of the paper.
