Biological Anthropology: Racism

This course introduced you to the four subfields of Anthropology, biological anthropology is one of them, please delve deeper into the chosen subfield (biological anthropology). Your response should be at least 2 pages (minimum 1000
words) and you should draw on eight concepts from your textbook. Underline and bold each concept.
Race is a social construct with very real consequences. As with many social constructs they vary depending on location. Discuss racism in the local (QATAR) and regional (MENA) context.
This is where you demonstrate your capacity to ‘think anthropologically’ about racism in the local context. This write-up should demonstrate not only an exploration of your cultural awareness and ability to describe aspects of it but also provide an in-depth analysis, through a holistic perspective, of the culture and the topic that you research along with any people that you observed. It should draw from concepts in the course readings, lectures, and the literature that you collected as well as the observations you collected. The point is to dig down to the cultural models and assumptions inherent in
the things which you examined.
Area of study should be Qatar and MENA region. discuss racism in qatar and how the intercultural guidance and world cup 2022 might change racism within the qatari society.
-the eight concepts from the textbook should be: Human Variation, Human Adaptation, Genetics, Ethnicity and Race, Religion (talk about how racism in Islam is viewed), culture, biological anthropology, biculturalism.
THE CONCEPT AREN’T NECESSARILY IN THIS ORDER BUT THEY ARE OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE.

DISCUSSION BOARD QUESTIONS

Initial Thread:

After reading the book Spiritual Disciples for the Christian Life, post an initial thread to include the follow (use separate bolded section titles or paragraphs to break up the post showing where each point is addressed):

1. Approximately, what percentage of the book was read in preparation for this discussion?

2. Whats Whitneys theme for the book and what verse does he use to establish that theme? He explicitly shares it. Do you agree with his use of this verse in establishing this premise? Why or why not?

3. Whitney argues that Spiritual Disciplines are those practices found in Scripture that promote spiritual growth among believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ. The key here is that he limits Spiritual Disciplines to those practices found in Scripture. Considering that, he has a chapter on journaling. Do you believe that chapter and his argument there meets his own criteria? Why or why not?

4. Assuming that God uses Spiritual Disciplines to help grow us in godliness, take a moment and pray and reflect upon which discipline God wants you to utilize more faithfully in your life to grow in godliness. How do you specifically and practically plan on being more faithful in the practice of that discipline? Share your plan with us.

5. Find one other definitive statement given in the book with which you strongly agreed or disagreed. Explain and defend from Scripture your strong response in light of that statement.

2.    Using this article as well as other course materials, discuss the implications of Cultural Intelligence in your chosen professional field. (What cross-cultural challenges exist in your profession? How will having high CQ help to address those challenges? What other research needs to be done in order to develop high CQ in your field?)

3.    Imagine you were creating a professional development seminar on cultural intelligence for professionals in your chosen field. Aside from simply defining CQ, what topics would you focus on? How would you help your attendees practically apply CQ to your field?

On several fronts the modern worldview challenged Christianity. Write an essay that describes at least three of those challenges and then addresses specific ways in which Christians responded to those challenges.

The Cooperation between lifelong enemies

A research paper between 5000-6750 words (including proper footnotes and bibliography) on a specific research question selected by the student and approved by the professor.  b.  Your paper must be original insofar as you are expected to not merely summarize the sources pertaining to the research question.  Rather, you must offer a reasoned interpretation and analysis of the issues raised by the question which is not directly taken from the sources themselves. Papers that do not attempt original reasoned analysis/interpretation cannot earn anything higher than a C-.

Please use the Research Paper proposal as the guide as it has my research question and thesis. The methodology section is sort of a basis to how i wanted to write the paper. Also the arrow diagram must be included as an actual box and arrow diagram. The question is used to test Larsons theory that co-operation needs trust. I want to frame it in a way that shows that co-operation does not need trust. The sources i give should help.

The issue I am choosing is the daily suicide rate for military veterans and the person i am writing this to is to the President of the United States.  The lack of help received from the VA needs to change so more lives can be changed.
